Ian Watt video blogs about the decreasing vacancy rates in the Vancouver Condo market which is also dramatically increasing the rental price per square foot. Ian Watt: Hi good afternoon it's Ian Watt. Driving around Downtown Vancouver. Vancouver right now especially the Downtown core is unbelievable. It's on fire right now the rental market is crazy. I don't do rentals myself I don't handle them and I'm not license to do rentals but it's actually incredible what's going on. Things have been renting out for two fifty to three dollars per square foot and I mean like a five hundred square foot studio at a or a small one bedroom at Yaletown Park. A client might rented one of those that and he rented it out for fifteen hundred dollars but this is the kicker. He had so many people wanting to rented out that one person paid for the full year just to get that suite. Kind of a check right there for the year. I don't do rentals I don't handle rentals. Whatever they are doing with their own rentals and they do it their own. They're doing really well right now. My name is Ian Watt. You can always email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you very much and have a great day!
