Ian Watt: Hi good afternoon it's Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. Of course in the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver there's over 10,000 members. 10,000 realtors in basically Vancouver and the Metro area not including Surrey and the Fraser Valley. That is a lot of realtors and a lot of people say what's the difference between you and you and you and you? Well the difference is the top 10% percent or the top 1% percent or whatever percentages they're great realtors and there's no difference they all have passion, they all get the job done or they wouldn't be in the top 1% or top 10% percent that is for sure. But the difference between all these people? When I've come to realized actually let me just digress for a second over the whatever past few years and I probably didn't realized this into my fifth year is that if there 10,000 realtors there's 10,000 ways to be a successful realtor in Vancouver. That's for sure. Now the difference between me and another realtor or me and another top realtor the difference is we have different styles but the magic thing is we all get the job done. What I do and how I do it, it doesn't really matter as long as I get the job done and those people in the top 10% or the top 1% they get the job done too. So what I think is very important is you focused on two things when your interviewing make it three things. Are they the top 10% or top 1% or whatever is important to you. The next thing is do they know your area? Are they Downtown condo specialists? If not don't work with them if your selling your Downtown Vancouver condo. The last thing is do you like them? Do you believe in them? Do you get along with them? Those three things are so important because the top 10% or the top 1% the difference between this realtor and this realtor and that realtor is nominal they are all successful, they are all great, they all get the job done it's who you trust, who you believe in and who you think can get the job done for your property.
