Ian Watt: Hi
good afternoon it's Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. Doing the year in
review for 2010 for the West End. Now the West End is a little bit goofy
now because the West End also includes the Alberni street and the
Shangri-la and those things scew things quite a bit. Nonetheless, the
most expensive and the largest unit sold in the West End in 2010 was at
the Shangri-la that one sold for $5.8 million dollars and it was 4,470
square feet so that was the most expensive and the largest in the West
End. The cheapest one was at 1045 Haro street now that all concrete
building. It's sold for $221,000 dollars and that was 431 square feet
really small but not the smallest. The smallest one to sell in the West
End was at 1940 Barclay and that's sold or that one was 383 square feet
not bad if you can live in a shoe box. Now the most expensive unit in
the West End per square foot to sell. So for 1,300 dollars a square foot
and that was 1005 Beach the Alvar one of the Penthouses there and the
cheapest one per square foot that sold was at 1238 Cardero and that one
was 973 square feet sold for $350,000 dollars which made it a 359
dollars a square foot. That's the West End for 2010. If you have any
questions about any of the sales. If I missed anything please let me
know. My name is Ian Watt and you can always email me at ianwatt@ianwatt.ca. Thank you very much and have a great day!
