Wait until January to Sell Your Vancouver Condo
Ian Watt video blogs about even though the season is beginning to wind down for the year, many sellers are inquiring about placing their Vancouver Condos on the market. Ian's suggestion is that people wait until mid January to sell their condos to capture maximum exposure and a greater number of buyers. Ian Watt: Hi good afternoon it's Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. Yes it's getting close to December we're starting to see basically the Downtown core slowing down a little bit as far as new listings are concern but I'm still getting people inquiring about what to do. A lot of people wanna sell, however I always tell people don't sell right now we might have two weeks left that is really good run and then your property gonna sit for four weeks. On top of that chances are the photographs are gonna have all the festive decorations as well. So if it doesn't sell and it's active for two weeks, sits for four weeks and then on January people are starting to look again they're gonna notice the Christmas and all the lights blah blah blah and it's gonna look like an tired old listing. So my suggestion is let's not list it right now let's wait until January 15th until people are back into work mode again and then we can focus on selling your place without a deep for four weeks. If you wanna do it right now we can figure it out but I'm telling you please don't put your place on the market right now. Wait until January of course it's gonna be a lot more listings in January but there's gonna be a lot more activity as well.
