Ian Watt: Hi good afternoon it’s Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. I know I’ve blog about this before and I said it many times but we constantly get offers in, where people want to move in because it’s a vacant property and starts doing renovations before completions. Now I think that’s a ridiculous thing of course most people would just shake their heads and say no you don’t own it you can’t touch the property until I have your money and you become the owner. But people still try all the time to see if they could move in due to renovations before the completion. Of course its empty but what happened if you strike a pipe and it floods all the units below? What happens if you don’t complete and you rip out all the kitchen cabinets? Who knows what gonna happen before completions. So if anybody asked me if they can do some renovations even just painting before completion I say no way you’re buying the property as it was the day you viewed it and it would be in that condition when you get it and when you’re the owner you can do whatever you want with it.
