Condominium Strata Councils Should Be Careful How They Write Their Minutes

Ian Watt video blogs about how Condominium Strata Councils Should Be Careful How They Write Their Minutes and how they should be very specific about the issues in a suite as it could affect the prices of the entire building. Ian Watt: Hi Good Afternoon, its Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. I'm actually in Coal Harbour right now. But I wanted to stressed how important it is to use very specific verbiage when it comes to strata councils and what the right in the strata minutes. It's so important that people if there's a leak in a condo explain what it is, explain if the pipe broke, if a valve broke, if the roof is leaking or the windows are leaking or there's a moisture from any other source. If they say it's a leak in suite 403 that opens up a whole lot of red flags for that property and all the properties in the strata. Be specific when you're writing your strata documents so people understand what is actually going on in the building. My name is Ian Watt and if you have any questions. You could always email me at ianwatt@ianwatt.ca. Thank you very much and have a great day!
