Ian Watt: Hi good afternoon it’s Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. Doing the year in review this time I’m doing it for Gastown and I happen to be in Gastown right now. But as far as the mls is concern it is Downtown Vancouver East as what they call it and there were only 41 sales last year in Gastown. Now the most expensive one sold for $980,000 dollars which is 1600 square foot penthouse at 28 Powell pre-cool deal and that was only $675 per square foot. The cheapest one was at 22 East Cordova 390 square feet with no with no parking and that one sold for $190,000 dollars the average price sold per square foot was $544 dollars per square foot that’s why I keep on telling everyone Gastown is the place to be. This is where your money gonna grow. You just gonna wait make sure all the junkies kinda get clean up a little bit. It is changing so fast down here.
