Ian Watt : Hi Good Afternoon. Its Ian Watt in Downtown, Vancouver. I got an email today from a guy, who I guess has his place for sale with another realtor. And I guess, there's some communication problem regarding feedbacks on showings. Now I guess, he was wondering, he asked me to blog about this and I guess, I'll tell you waht i do. I'd probably do about 10 showings a day on average. And when I do those 10 showings, I don't call my client back after every single showing. Because if I were doing that, I would have no time to sell the property. However, if my clients text me, phone me or email me, and they want feedback, I would definitely give it back to them within the couple hours, whenever I can. But generally, I'm not gonna contact my client after every single showing. Its just, its a huge time waster. And if I haven't spoken to my client in a week, certainly, I will contact them and let them know whats going on. But I definitely, definitely don't contatc my clients after every single showing. Making 10 phonecalls a day, a whole bunch of missed calls and then 10 voicemails and 10 callbacks. Its a huge waste of time. So if there's huge feedbacks or something I need to talk about, I'll contact you and vice versa. And that's the fantastic way that I run my business. It might not be the perfect way for every single client or realtor but it works for me and works for my client. My name's Ian Watt. If you have any questions regarding my business or the way people , that I think should do real estate, you can always email me at firstname.lastname@example.org . Thank you very much and have a great day !
