Ian Watt's Client Appreciation / Canuck Place Children's Hospice Awareness Party
On Wednesday September 26th we had our annual client appreciation night at Gotham Steakhouse at 615 Seymour Street. Although the idea was an evening to give back to our loyal clients and supporters, we decided to focus the evening on our relationship with Canuck Place Children's Hospice.
With aid from Canuck Place CEO Filomena Nalewajek and Canuck Place’s Major Gifts Liaison Jana Walker's generous donations of an autographed Canuck Jersey and autographed stick, along with some Canuck Tickets, we were able to raise money and more importantly awareness for Canuck Place Children’s Hospice (our charity - see "got heart" on our website) - winners included Mike Kennedy, and RBC Yaletown’s Tom Prasol. We kicked up the party level as Riley Inge, a onetime Temptation, serenaded us with some old Motown songs, accompanied by Kelly Crowe on the piano.
After all said and done, there were approximately 150 people in attendance and exactly 712 drinks consumed. Special thanks to the one person who ordered a juice (thanks mom!).
