Has the Condo Buyer Slow Down Arrived in Downtown Vancouver?

Ian Watt Video blogs about how the total MLS listings in the Downtown core just went over 1000 units, first time since June. Has the buyer slow down arrived? Ian Watt: Hi Good Morning, It's Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. It's mid October and the market is starting to change a little bit. The first time since June we've seen our listings for the Downtowncore go over 1,000 units. I always track different things on my dashboard. Every morning I punched in various numbers that are important to me. The lowest we had seen in this summer market that's been on fire is the total listings of 881 for the Downtown core. That's what I kept tracking of it. Now were over a thousand. Which means hey the absorption right is slowing for sure which also means supply and demand changes as well. What's gonna happen we'll have to see, who knows what happens going in November and December. Are we going 1100 listings, only time would tell. My name is Ian Watt. You can always email me at ianwatt@ianwatt.ca. Thank you very much and have a great day!
