Ian Watt: Hi good afternoon! It’s Ian Watt in South Granville are. I'm actually right my Granville Island just heading up I believe it's a hemlock here. Anyways, I was talking with the immigration consultant and the reason why I contacted this consultant because I wanted to know how many immigrants are coming to Canada every year. And this is one thing that the media never ever talks about when they're talking about. The reason why the market has changed and what's happening to Vancouver. You know Vancouver is the closest place to the Pacific Rim in Canada and anyways the point is she was explaining that there about 250,000 people per year that immigrate to Canada. And Canada is not a huge place we have about 30 million about same sizes in California. We have 250,000 people immigrating to Canada every year and I ask how many people were refugees and that's about 10%. The one thing that you have to remember when people immigrate. They come with money, they come with skills, they don't come with jobs but chances are they land in a job that pretty quick that's what one in the deals that's why immigrating in Canada. But the one thing they will never come with is a house. They never come with a home. So either they're going to rent which helps our investor or they're gonna buy. They're not gonna live on the street that's for sure. So next time your reading an article about why Vancouver is changed and the real estate market is changed. You should think about that immigration is a huge factor on why Vancouver is doing so well s far as growth. My name is Ian Watt. You can always email me at ianwatt@ianwatt.ca.
