Ian Watt's Advice, An Investment In Preparation of Your Condo is Cheaper Than A Price Reduction
Ian Watt video blogs about a client who had painted his Vancouver Penthouse red and black and wondered why its wasn't selling. Then after taking it off the market for a week, painting it white, the penthouse had received an offer on the first showing. Ian
Watt: Hi, Good afternoon! It's Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. Just
wanted to talk about the importance of getting the place prepared
before it hits the market. You know I hate to rub it in and I love my
client he's fantastic but I bugged him and bugged him and bugged him to
paint his penthouse because he had painted it black and red and I said
paint it white, paint it white and of course it's probably styling it
was funky but white is where is at. Four months later we take it off to
the market. We painted up the next showing we get an offer and it was a
pretty good offer too. Not to say that there wasn't a little bit a luck
involve but to tell you the truth getting your place prepared properly.
Say that ten times fast, is such a major factor in showcasing and
getting your place sold. Paint it up, spend the money because the cost
of painting is definitely cheaper than the price reduction your going
to face two months later. My name is Ian Watt and if you have any
questions. you can always email me at ianwatt@ianwatt.ca. Thank you very much and have a great day!
