December is Not the Right Month to List Your Vancouver Condo

Ian Watt video blogs about even though the season is winding down right now, the inquiries to list clients condos in the month of December hasn't slowed down. However, Ian Watt explains it probably in the seller's best interest to wait for another 4 weeks until mid January when buyers are back thinking about real estate again. If you want to voice your opinion or if you don't care for Ian's comments please email your feedback to ianwatt@ianwatt.ca and visit http://www.ianwatt.ca/RealEstateVideos for all the Ian Watt Real Estate Video Blogs.

Ian Watt: Hi, Good afternoon! It's Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. Giving you a little bit of advice for December. Were still getting a lot of inquiries a lot of people do want to put their places on the market but I'm telling everybody just wait. Wait until mid January that's the time probably you should do it. For two reasons basically everyone else everyone who's shopping right now is shopping for a low ball cause what we see is people either have their place on the market right now because a. they desperately need to sell or b. they are unmotivated and don't really care if it's sales now or in June. And that's the reality, so you get a lot of bottom feeders out there right now so if your not desperate to sell or if your at the extreme opposite. Just hang on until January the market will be re-focus on real estate after the holidays and you'll have a better chance to sell your place. Be patient it's only four weeks away until January. My name is Ian Watt. If you have any questions you can always email me at ianwatt@ianwatt.ca. Thank you very much and have a great day!
