Old School Buyer Realtors Presenting Offers in Person

Ian Watt video blogs about how  many old school buyer realtors think its beneficial to present offers to the sellers in person, unfortunately this tactic sometimes backfires as the buyers realtors may say the wrong things to the sellers changing their feelings towards the sale. Ian Watt: Hi good afternoon it's Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. Back in a day before email and the internet and fax machines people used to like to present offers in persons. Old school realtors thinks it's the way to go still, however the world is changed and not a lot of people still present offers in person. One realtor emails the offer to the other realtor. Now I think that's the best route to go because I know how to handle my clients I know my clients. You know how to handle your clients you know your clients. However some realtors still insist on presenting the offer and I say no problem. But what happened last time. we have an offer presented the offer was pretty good it wasn't bad at all however that realtor think of my client and they chose not to accept that offer or even counter offer because of something that person had said had insulted them. So it's best just to email the offer through my clients and I will deal to it or through the me and I will deal with it with my clients if you upset my clients it could cut the deal and drop it like that. So forget the old school way of doing things telling my clients why their property sucks and why your offer is perfect it's not going to fly every time. My name is Ian Watt and if you have any questions you can always email me at ianwatt@ianwatt.ca. Thank you very much and have a great day!
