Realtors® Get More Than A Commission for Condo Pre-Sales Now

Ian Watt video blogs about how Realtors® are not only getting their large commission for bringing clients to Vancouver condos pre-sales now, they are also getting listings and the right to sell other units in those very same condo buildings - a first for Vancouver. Ian Watt: Hi good afternoon it’s Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. If you haven’t noticed next to Science World behind the Olympic Village your gonna find a whole bunch of buildings going up in around the Quebec and 2nd Avenue. I’m not gonna mentioned which buildings they are but nonetheless beware they are terrible deals they’re more expensive than pre existing condos in the Downtown core for an up and coming area. The price per square foot is ridiculous and just to give you an idea how bad is this developers need to market this condos. If the realtor takes their client to buy a property in one of those buildings and I’m not gonna mentioned which building because I don’t need to get sued right now. But if you take your buyer there not only do you get a huge commission you also get a listing to sell another one in that building. So not only are you getting ten, fifteen and twenty thousand dollars you’re also getting opportunity to get another ten, fifteen, twenty thousand dollars on the way out selling another property. It’s pretty amazing marketing actually it’s brilliant  marketing to capture all the realtors so the realtors actually look out for their own best interest instead of their clients. But nonetheless if you are a buyer check the price per square foot and also make sure your realtor discloses how much money they’re getting  to bring you to that pre-sale. My name is Ian Watt and if you have any questions you can always email me at ianwatt@ianwatt.ca. Thank you very much and have a great day!
