Renovations After Subject Removal But Before Completion
Ian Watt video blogs about how one of the CondoGo properties received an offer and of the terms was allowing the buyer to do Renovations After Subject Removal But Before the completion date which can open the seller up to a lot of liabilities. If you want to voice your opinion or if you don't care for Ian's comments please email your feedback to ianwatt@ianwatt.ca and visit http://www.ianwatt.ca/RealEstateVideos for all the Ian Watt Real Estate Video Blogs.
Ian Watt: Hi Good Afternoon, it's Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver.
Very interesting we had an offer on one of our CondoGo properties the
other day. And it was subject to all the regular things as per usual
but they also through in a class hoping maybe maybe the buyers realtor
did not understand this but what we realize is that they were trying to
do all the renovations prior to moving in. They wanted to do it after
they put their deposit down after the subject removal but before the
completion date. Very dangerous to do that because they are not the
owners. If there any problems if they break a pipe, if they fall and
hurt themselves, if any lost suites happen. That's falling on our well
our clients shoulders. They are still the owners so don't allow anyone
to do any renovations in a property they don't owned yet. My name is
Ian Watt and if you have any questions. You can always email me at ianwatt@ianwatt.ca. Thank you very much and have a great day!
