Ian Watt: Hi Good Afternoon. It's Ian Watt in Downtown
Vancouver. About 2 or 3 months ago, I'd been to a property and I just
fell in love with it I thought it was fantastic it was not my listing.
But it expired about a month ago and I went after it because I wanted
this. I wanted this listing and I never chase after business like that.
But I had to do it in this situation because I wanted to prove that I
could sell this property. Its in Gastown and Gastown for the 800 to a
million dollar range is not really heard of. It doesn't happen very
often. But in this situation I knew I could sell it to the right
alternative professional so to speak. Maybe like a game or an architect
or something like that. So what it happened was I've sent off a video
camera, a flip cam to the guy who didn't live in Vancouver and out of
town owner. Recording myself in front of his place and said " You know
what? I'm gonna give this camera whether you work with me or not. I
just wanna show you how much I want this listing. So he gave me the
lisitng and 22 days later, I sold it. And it had been with 3 or 4 other
realtors in the meantime. And maybe I'm just a lucky guy, the right
time, the right price, the right marketing maybe. Or maybe it has
something to do with me. I don't know, we'll never know. But
nonetheless, it's sold and I'm so excited. This is my trophy sale of
the year. It's 120 Powell. Its a record price for that area for the
last couple of years that's for sure. If you're having trouble selling
you place and maybe you're thinking of putting it on the market or
