Ian Watt : Hi Good Afternoon . Its Ian Watt in Downtown, Vancouver. We stage up a property ourselves about 2 weeks ago now. And that place had been on the market for a little while and we had a lot of interests, however, no one could envision where the furnitures would go. Its a small, low-end, $400,000, ah, one-bedroom. And what it was, once we went in there, we staged it. It wasn't professionally done, we had all the activity again. And its sold like that! It was great! Then we move the furniture to another place but again, it was just some basics. We had an inflatable bed. We had some picture frames. we had a little 2 persons dining table and a couple of Barcelona chairs and an area rag. Again that one was sold. So the point is, its not important to spend thousands and thousands of dollars to stage up, to professionally stage up a property. Things can be done at a ... The whole point of staging is to get people through the door and let them envision how it would be like to live in that space. Of course, it only applies to one bedroom and lower level units as far as, you know, the first time buyers, that kind of areas concerned. If you're dealing with multi-million dollaR PROPERTIES, i wouldn't stage it myself. I can't do it justice. It would look totally out of place. But we spent about a thousand dollars, move it to 2 different places, $500 each and we got 2 commissions rolling in. My name's Ian Watt.
