Ian Watt: Hi Good Afternoon, It's Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. It is our 2009 year in review and the biggest sale in the Downtown area on the MLS this year has been a penthouse unit in a pre-sale. Is a very small building on Hornby street and that one there is sold for about 1250 a square foot or 3.1 million dollars. I know it's going to be spectacular building but it blows me away that somebody had invested this price into a pre-sale in Downtown Vancouver. Personally if I were going to spend that kind of money. I'd rather be in on Coal Harbour, on Marinaside, Yaletown, Cordova Street. Somewhere like that if I'm going to get a pre-sale unit at that price. It's a big risk to get something on Hornby street but then again 2009 is been a very different year than I expected and it has been quiet good for a lot of realtors and a lot of Real Estate Companies. My name is Ian watt and if you wanna know a little bit more about what's going in the Downtown core. Make sure you follow up and watch all this video blogs the 2009 year in review. If you have any questions or suggestions. You can always email me at ianwatt@ianwatt.ca. Thank you very much and have a great day!
