Ian Watt video blogs about how if you are going to do a price reduction, it may be better to do a cancellation and a re-list so your exposure i much greater to those buyers on an auto-notification. Ian Watt: Hi good afternoon it's Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. If your going to do a price change, why don't consider canceling the listing and bringing it out again. Everyone who's looking at properties iis working with realtor is on auto notification. If for example new listings come out chances are it's going to be emailed out to those perspective buyers. If it's already emailed out before they might be set up for new listings only which means if you do a price change those people won't see it. So what,  I think what you should do is cancel the listing re-list it. Yes it cost your realtor a few hundred dollars but nonetheless it will have more impact in the long run for re-listing and automatically get a sale. My name is Ian Watt and if you have any questions. You can always email me at ianwatt@ianwatt.ca. Thank you very much and have a great day!
