Alberta lost 30 percent of their realtors, is Vancouver next?

Ian Watt video blogs about how the annual renewal date for realtors in Alberta cleaned out about 30% of the dead weight, and the number of Vancouver realtors is dropping too. Ian Watt: Hi good afternoon! It’s Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. Just driving up Granville Street heading up to Kerrisdale to see my old office MacDonald Realty. And in Alberta the end of September they had they're annual renewal for the amount of realtors out there. What were going to see is pretty much the same thing in Alberta. They had I believe it was September 30th was the renewal day. They lost over 30% of their realtors in one day. In Vancouver we renew upon our anniversary day. The day we got in the business so it's gonna be very interesting in the next year. Slowly but surely I bet you were gonna be down by 9,500 realtors all the way down to about 6,000 realtors. People although school teachers that are realtors. They're getting out the business, part time people and all the professionals will survive. My name is Ian Watt. You can always email me at ianwatt@ianwatt.ca. Thank you very much and have a great day!
