The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV) reports that residential home sales in the region totalled 3,064 in November 2020, a 22.7% increase from the 2,498 sales recorded in November 2019, and a 16.9% decrease from the 3,687 homes sold in October 2020.

Home sales in the Greater Vancouver area continued their steep year-over-year drop last month, amid confinement measures and physical distancing requirements related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

COVID-19 social-distancing measures led to April home sales dropping to a 38-year low in Metro Vancouver, according to the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver.  

April home sales totalled 1,109, which is a 39.5 per cent decrease from the 1,829 sales recorded in the same month last year and a 56.1 per cent decrease from the 2,524 homes sold in March.
