Ian Watt: Hi good afternoon! It's Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. As I drive along 2nd Avenue right next to project. I think about all the people who have been trashing Bob Rennie because of the economic down turn and what's going on with Millennium and the price is there and the city and the Olympics blah, blah, blah! But Bob Rennie is a legend. Bob Rennie has taking our city along with Larry B. and it's made it in amazing place to live. And Bob Rennie is not guilty of anything except for making a lot of money. What he did he took his, he took his blue print. That he made on every single project he was amazing what he did as marketing was concern. What he did he would he walk into a pre-sale show suite and you would feel like you weren't buying a condo you felt like your buying a lifestyle. It was amazing and he took it from project to project and sold them out and sold them out, sold them out. Of course it was the right guy, right place, right time, with the right marketing but his brilliant. Nobody else achieve what he achieved and those other project marketing companies. They don't have that Gretzky super star dome legendary reputation that sees him. It's amazing what the guy has done with Downtown Vancouver. And what he did, he took his clients and made them a ton of money and when I say clients I don't mean the people who bought a product. I meant the developers, the developers knew that Bob was gold and now the market is changed and Bob's getting a little bit older maybe and Web 2.0 is totally prominent . There's a changing of the guard of course and as he fades off into the real estate sunset and we won't see Bob doing ever best doing again because it won't happen in Vancouver. It's impossible, but nonetheless we have to reflect on this city and say "Bob really changed this city for the better" It's amazing. So the only thing he's guilty of is being a great marketer and making a lot of money. And if you gonna trash him, keep that in mind don't look at today present market because that is effected by a lot of other things. My name is Ian Watt. You can always email me at ianwatt@ianwatt.ca. Thank you very much and have a great day!
