Ian Watt: Hi, Good afternoon! It's Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. Every listing that realtors submit get submitted to the Real Estate Board. It is put into the MLS system and it gets put out to mls.ca, realtor.ca, realtylink., or whatever you want to call it and that's why at the bottom of every page there's a little disclaimer that says where not responsible if the information is inaccurate. Now, realtors sometimes don't fill out all the information and that is a bit of a problem. Now, whether it's accurate or not the Real Estate Board doesn't know it. But the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board which is Surrey East. What they've done is they've put like a $10 dollar fine for realtors who do not fill out the information. If it's not filled out in 10 days or a few days sorry, the $10 dollar fine gets doubled and gets doubled, doubled, doubled etc. Great system that they have going out in Fraser Valley. In Vancouver if we don't have it we just don't have it. There are no consequences other than our clients might be upset that the information is not accurate. So I think our Greater Vancouver Real Estate Board should adopt this $10 dollar fine but not a $10 dollar fine. Make it the first one a $10 dollar fine the second one a hundred dollar fine.
