Ian Watt: Hi good afternoon it's Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. Doing the 2010 year in review and this time more in Gastown. Were talking about Gastown the largest unit to sell in Gastown in 2010 was on Alexander street it was multi-level unit right at the train tracks and that one was 1,876 square feet and actually sold for $785,000 dollars. Not bad water view and all. The smallest one sold at 22 East Cordova and that one was the Vanhorn and the Vanhorn smallest unit was 390 square feet, pretty cool that one sold for $493,000 dollars. Then the most expensive and the most expensive price per square foot was at 27 Alexander former professional athletes sold his designer home. It was actually I think originally two units put together over looking the water fantastic! I'm talking architectural digest kind of renovation. That one there is sold for just shy of a million dollars and it was 1,371 square feet but pretty cool one bedroom. Then the cheapest price per square foot, ironically at the Concord Pacific 168 Powell that is the Smart project and if you bought in there that's certainly smart because it was only $399 dollar just a square foot for brand new unit. It was 981 square feet sold for $392,000 dollars and then there was another one in there on the seventh floor also sold for $399 dollars a square foot. I still tell everyone buy at the Smart project it's brand new, hang on to it, hold for ten years and you'll probably make some money. My name is Ian Watt and that was the Gastown 2010 year in review. If you have any questions, you can always email me at ianwatt@ianwatt.ca. Thank you very much and have a great day!
