Ian Watt: Hi good afternoon it's Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. How hot is the Downtown Vancouver condo market? Well, not so hot it's actually business as usual. Seems like were seeing about 10 or 12 sales a day and that's including Gastown, Yaletown, Coal Harbour, the West End and the Downtown area of the Downtown core. Now everyone thinks that because the medias saying that everything is so hot on the West Side especially houses or condos or Richmond etc. etc. etc., then everywhere else is hot but it's not hot it's just a regular market in Downtown Vancouver. Actually just to prove this point the average days on the market for a condos in Downtown for all the listings so far year to date is 44 days on the market before it sells. That means that some of them sell the first day some of them take 88 days but on average is 44 days to sell your condo and that's only if it's price right. My name is Ian Watt. If you have any questions you can always email me at ianwatt@ianwatt.ca. Thank you very much and have a great day!
