Showings Come In Waves but if They Stop Coming its Probably the Price

Ian Watt video blogs about how showings and interest comes in waves and its never 100% steady after the first week. However, if they stop coming all together its probably the price. Ian Watt: Hi good afternoon it's Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. I've blogged about this before the first week is very important as far as how it's going to play out as far as the new listings is concern. You might get a ton of showings the first week the second week will be quieter and the third week a little quieter. However after week after week if your getting no inquiries it's definitely the price. So were just the price however if you are going through a little period were you get some inquiries, couple showings here and then it dies out for a week then a couple showings just be patient as long as the showings are coming it always goes in waves you might have three in one day and nothing for a week. That's the way it happens so be patient but if your getting no inquiries, no showings, no interest it is always the price so adjust the price and that might adjust all the amount of showings. I like to cancel my listings and bring them out if were not getting any interest or whatsoever. So talk to your realtor about that why do we cancel it, do we need new photos, bring it out as new listing something fresh at a new price. My name is Ian Watt and if you have any questions you can always email me at ianwatt@ianwatt.ca. Thank you very much and have a great day!
