Ian Watt: Hi good afternoon it's Ian Watt in Downtown Vancouver. Yesterday were invited to the Real Estate Board and at the Real Estate Board they had this in there to see how wicked improved professionalism and tight to media etc etc. they're thinking about doing this to direct to the website. So they're about 6 realtor someone from the BC Real Estate Association somebody from the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver and someone from the tech industry. So were chatting about all this but the one thing I've been pushing for if were going to go and try and raise a professionalism is public, knowledge, transparency and accountability. Now what I'm thinking is, if you highlight a map is everything about real estate is hyper look that's all people care about is what's happening in their neighborhood. If you highlight a map and you put the last six month sales and my name pops up somebody else name pops up everyone's name pops up and it tells you who knows the area and who's actually sold in there. That's one thing that's important and also on top of that we want or I want the clients of both of the two realtor involved to rate their realtor on that transaction so what happen is a week after closing my client gets an email from the Real Estate Board the buyers client gets a buyers realtor client gets an email from the Real Estate Board and they get to rate their realtor on how well they did. That score should be publicize and our average should be out there. And how many sales we've done in the last twelve months that is very important the more knowledge the public has the more professional our profession will become. It's very important I don't think suspensions can help anybody, I don't think education helps anybody but if I'm doing a transaction and my client I know is going to rate me and they're going to say Ian did this and got a 9 out of 10 or a 10 out of 10 or a 2 out of 10 I know that how hard I work will impact my future business and that will raise professionalism in our industry. It's all about public information and accountability. My name is Ian Watt and if you have any questions. You can always email me at ianwatt@ianwatt.ca. Thank you very much and have a great day!
